I've yet to hear a reasonable argument in favour of the proposed changes.

I understand the Province is responsible for only 5% of the LRCA operating budget so it is unlikely any savings will be realized.

On the flip side, I can see travel and accomodation expenses associated with the proposed centralized model quickly getting out of hand. If we've learned anything over the past decade it's that virtual meetings and remote management/work are not substitutes for local face to face interactions.

If the Province legitimatly has improvements in mind, continue to encourage or even mandate showing up for work in person, leverage the local partisapation and avoid creating any new bureaucracies ie board, committees, departments.
