I am opposed to consolidating Conservation Authorities into a few large entities. The Lakehead Region Conservation Authority has done, and will continue to do, the utmost in servicing this area of Thunder Bay and its surrounding region. At the very least, any amalgamated Northwestern Ontario Authorities must be contained under an umbrella located within Northwestern Ontario ONLY!!! Our region has unique needs and topography that must be serviced locally. Please do NOT consolidate our Authorities under the Superior-Huron joint regions!!!
