The proposal from the ministry (MZO) is not a responsible or practical proposal. No one wants to live in show box size condos or in a neighborhood that will be in constant gridlock (it's there now during rush hours). The proposal from the We Love Oakville (WLO) is far more practical and still adds housing units well above the targets that Oakville has agreed to. I would suspect that many of these units will remain empty with the ministry proposal. The WLO proposal will deliver reasonable sized living quarters and ones that people will desire. I am not sure why an impractical solution would be forced on the people of Ontario. Please listen to reason. I suspect it will be financially better for any developer.
