I do not think amalgamating all these boards is a good idea. The smaller conservation boards will be forgotten and the larger ones will have the most say. It is also important that the local governments be on these. The money will go to the larger areas and the smaller ones who provide a great service to our areas will be forgotten. Leave well enough alone it works as it is.
