I have lived in Oakville for 15 years just off Trafalgar Rd. I use the Oakville GO on a regular basis to get to work. Over the last 5 years Trafalgar Rd has become crippled with traffic. In fact, leaving the Go train on Cornwall or Cross takes about 30 minutes just to get to Iroquois Shore Rd. The congestion is intense and Oakville does not have a strong transit system. It gets so bad that sometimes you cannot turn left during 1-2 cycles of the light. Eighth Line has not been developed to help with traffic congestion (there is no bridge over the highway). Please be responsible in planning. 11 tall towers are absolutely excessive. This is not downtown Toronto. The infrastructure needs to be fixed first. You will cripple and disable our town.
