I do not want the amalgamation of Conservation areas throughout Ontario. The local authorities understand the needs and challenges if their area. An individual or group who is not a part of the community, using the conservation areas, should not be given powers to influence impacts on CAs. Amalgamations are expensive and always ends up with a less functioning version of the original. The amalgamation of home care (now OHaH) was a flop. Focus on creating jobs in Ontario and stop wasting your time with reorganizing systems that already work, moderately well. Conservation areas should get additional funding and if you prioritize creating Ontario jobs, and it results in more money flowing into Ontario, the we can properly fund our provincial/municipal services. Tax payers are paying you to create jobs, again, not focus on the amalgamation of CAs - that is not why the conservative government was re-elected.
