We need more conservation authorities, not less. Amalgamating the CAs will mean fewer people on the ground doing the important field work. It will also lead to less regionally-specific recommendations. It is vital that the prifessionals working for a CA have the ability to visit sensitive locations within their CA's range in order to assess and make recommendations for protecting local ecosystems. The larger the geographical area, the less likely that this will be possible/realistic
