I reject the provincial proposal to amalgamate conservation authorities.
If efficiency and improved conservation techniques are the goal there are other changes that can be made. Standardization of processes and holding authorities accountable can be done while maintaining local control.
Aligning with provincial priorities undermines the local conservation priorities. I do not support such a shift.
