We should be leaving the 36 locals as they are. Consolidating them in 7 government controlled agencies limits the amount of voices being heard and gives the Ontario government more access to implement their own agenda and bypass the conservation policies put in place to protect our greenbelt. How can we make a fair judgement to benefit our environment when the people who know the most about the matter (the conservationists and environmental researchers) are having decisions made for them by those not involved?
