I have read in the past that the provincial government had stripped some of the powers of the conservation authority away so the could destroy wetlands. Consolidating conservation areas is just a way to cut back on conservation areas that will ultimately lead to more cut backs and destroy wild life and their habitat. Leave the conservation areas alone.
