I agree with the Hamilton…

I agree with the Hamilton Conservation Authority’s submission to the ERO.
As a member of HCA, I believe that local conservation area management is critical. Our conservation areas are managed with excellence and efficiency. That’s obvious when you visit any of the conservation areas. They also manage costs very effectively.
As we have learned in some cities in Ontario, like Hamilton, amalgamation does not work. Management of resources and spending are significantly impacted in a negative way. Amalgamation of cities does not work. And it would not for conservation areas either.
Please keep the management of our Conservation Authorities local.
