Please ensure the consolidated names reflect the areas and consitutents being served, and easy to understand locally. The larger watersheds names seem over complicated and detached from reality. The term "regional" is also redundant, if there are no "local" CAs and only serves to lengthen a title for no added puprose. Standardized naming conventions (i.e. 4 word max) which many have become accustomed to.
While I don't feel that consolidation into 7 CAs are approriate, a geographical naming approach may be better i.e.:
Northern Ontario CA (NOCA)
Western Ontario CA (WOCA)
Southwestern Ontario CA (SOCA)
Eastern Ontario CA (EOCA)
Central Ontario CA (COCA)
Niagara Escarpment CA (NECA)
Toronto Area CA (TACA)
Easier names will make working with the organizations it much more user-friendly, and easier for the lay person to understand and feel included.
