Please do not combine the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority with a Conservation Authority that is not even on Lake Superior. This goes against the stated criteria (maintaining watershed-based jurisdictions). Suggesting that combining the LRCA with one more than a thousand kilometers away to better serve the public of the Thunder Bay area can only have been thought up by Southern Ontario politicians. In no way can this ridiculous pairing save costs. The LRCA must remain locally based, as should the Huron CA. Please ensure sufficient funding so that all of Ontario's Conservation Authorities can do their important work.
