I live in London Ontario…

I live in London Ontario. Although I am now retired, I served in the municipality for 17 years as the Municipal Flood Coordinator. I strongly valued how in tuned the local CA was before, during and after actual and potential flooding events.
While combining the Upper and Lower Thames River CA’s would make some sense in that it would then be one CA for one watershed, I strongly disagree with this proposed wide spread amalgamation.
I strongly believe, informed through years of experience that CA’s should be the local watershed experts and that we will lose that local knowledge and experience much to our and the environment’s detriment.
