I am totally against this proposal. This is a big city solution to a big city problem. I live in a rural community served by a conservation authority that covers two counties. This authority is governed by and accountable to ten local municipalities. The new regional authority would be a huge bureaucracy that would be less effective, less efficient, and more expensive while reducing accountability.
Queen's Park should stay in its own lane.
