I have no problem with you publishing my name.

I am disturbed by the proposal to amalgamate conservation authorities. This move would significantly inhibit the positive work they do in each community.
As a Rotary Club member, I have established a strong relationship with individual Authority members. This allows our Club to engage in cooperative environmental projects involving our Club, our local authority and the town of St. Marys. This change will negatively impact our cooperative efforts. I don’t believe a Conservation Authority the size you are proposing can possibly have positive outcomes.
I note the negative comments your government makes about some large amalgamated school boards. Much of the concern is because they are too big.
Now you want to do the same to Conservation Authorities?
Leave them alone!! If anything give them more financial resources to enhance their local impacts.
I follow politics closely and cannot think of one agency your government has not adversely impacted.
Please leave the Authorities alone so they can continue to do good work!
