I do not support the amalgamation of local conservation authorities in Ontario. Locally based decision-making and accountability is important for conservation. The creation of less localized authorities would make responses to local issues worse, which would degrade conservation - less response to issues equals less conservation.
The reason for this conservation has not been justified.
