I have used Hamilton conservation properties my entire life. The fact that it is locally managed is crucial to its success. It's been successful and the people working on the properties live close by. They can regularly report, feedback, and take ownership over the spaces.

There also has not been justification for the amalgamation. Without any clear evidence that this change would actually improve conservation or benefit the community, I’m concerned it would do the opposite by reducing responsiveness and weakening local stewardship. I don't support this change.
