This is a foolish idea…

This is a foolish idea. Local knowledge and experience need to be central to decision-making. Consolidating such a huge area means that local concerns will never be heard and local knowledge will be ignored. At a time when there are so many impacts to our environment – which affect all communities – we need informed, local solutions, not less oversight and less local say.
