Hiawatha Highlands is a key part of Sault Ste. Marie's community. It is very well managed by the local SSMRCA who had many unique partnerships with local organizations that use the conservation areas.
It seems very unlikely that the starship off these areas would be improved by analysing into a regional body.
I would prefer to see fees applied to the user if conservation areas and have the high level of stewardship maintained, than keep them free and have worse stewardship.
