With respect to the proposed Huron Superior RCA, the proposal contains one major omission and one potential blunder.
If the RCA is a proposed Lake Huron based organization, it is crucial to include the Severn Sound area to ensure that all of Simcoe County is covered. While not currently covered by a CA, the municipalities of north Simcoe have organized and created a special purpose body to carry out almost identical activities to a CA. To ensure the Lake Huron watershed in Simcoe county is covered. this are must be included.
As for the potential blunder, it makes absolutely no sense to include the Lakehead CA with a remote and unrelated CA. If you must create another RCA for the Lakehwad, so be it. To combine it with a RCA 1000kms to the south makes absolutely no logical sense.
