I absolutely do Not support reducing the number of Conservation Authorities in Ontario. We need to protect our waters, species at risk, and educational programs within our watersheds. Conservation Authorities work closely with our communities that specific needs need to be addressed. A enormous conservation authority will dilute resources and responsibilities to the same communities that they are mandated to protect. I want to see the newly proposed conservation authorities be reduced so that they can be effective. 81 municipalities in one CA is ridiculous. Don’t water down our Conservation Authorities!
