This is a bad idea. You need local authorities to monitor their own areas. We can’t allow this government to dilute environmental responsibility. The government is supposed to serve the people, not create back doors for rich businesses to profit from the depletion of our natural environment. I’m disgusted by our provincial government. How can any elected MPP sleep at night knowing they are participating in the destruction of nature and the natural environment. This is no longer democracy, these elected representatives are not doing their job. Shame on them. For real. The truth will come out and they will have to live with the reality that they did nothing constructive for the collective good when they had the chance.
