I am totally opposed to the Ontario Government's proposed changes to the Conservation Authorities in Ontario. Each of the Conservation Authorities has a unique set of problems to deal with, and lumping groups of them together, for no apparent reason other than exercising control over yet another municipal or regional group. We are seeing the same thing with school boards and regional bodies, where the province has exerted pressure or over-ridden local groups to erode democracy and exert partisan politics into non-partisan organizations. This is shameful!

We are seeing a growing shift within our provincial government to a more "MAGA" style of leadership, and, to many, this is a frightening trend!
