I am absolutely opposed to almagamating Ontario's 36 conservation authorities into seven regional groups. Each Conservation Authority knows specifically what each regions needs in terms of watershed management and the needs of the community for local recreation. Halton Conservation in particular has a close relationship with their members and visitors and our fees should directly support our wonderful parks for recreation in all seasons. Conservations Authorities have done an amazing job of keeping our parks for everyone despite the budget cuts that seem to happen every year. Stop undermining our parks which we rely on to be in touch with community to keep us healthy and active.
