Too much government regulation and by laws which negatively impact small farm businesses and property owners.
There should be some general government guidelines to protect the environment, but there are way too much government oversight.
for ex, building a shed or cabin too close to your forest line (which is protected under "conservation authority") requires permits or conservation authority approval. This is too government overreach.
and the conservation authority uses or promotes herbicides when they do their tree planting. this isn't good for the environment.
therefore - cut back on the government oversight - and you can save on government spending (staffing costs) and lessen the cost on property owners and farmers.
