I question-Ontario’s proposed plan to change or ‘improve’ the conservation authority system(CA), by amalgamating the ‘36’ into 7 regional conservation authorities.
It seems another land-grab like the Green Belt fiasco.
It is not in the interest of the environment or the people that enjoy these conservation areas.
It is yet another ploy to allow developers, perhaps those that were disappointed by the Green Belt outcome, to get their ‘shovels in the ground’ and wreck havoc on these essential (to people and wildlife) green spaces.
