By stating freeing up frontline resources, it sounds like you mean by merging the conservation authorities you will be giving these folks more to manage with less resources (money, man power, etc.) when they already have a lot on their plate. Because I appreciate our parks and nature and everything that has been done with these areas, I cannot in good faith support this decision. I feel this is one step closer to destroying another thing that makes Ontario a good place to live, which is already being tested by the insane cost of living (which, I have no expectation at this point that making this move will help). As someone who works on the frontline of care, I have seen first hand that the people of Ontario have less resources than ever and are struggling. Don't ruin some of the few things they can enjoy on a budget.
