I live in the local area of UTRCA, upper Thames.
Our local authority is doing a good job in governing this mixed agricultural and forested area. It is a unique place, unlike the Lake Huron shores, or Lakes Erie and Ontario.
We have a fragile watershed that is being carefully monitored.
The proposed amalgamation is too large, and we would get swallowed up by the proposed plan. Too big is never good.
Our wildlife, rivers and pastures are local and best cared for by people who actually live here.
My comment is no, keep the local boundaries as they are. Boundaries that took many years of dedication to build.
