I think the consolidation of the current conservation units would be extremely detrimental to the overall health and longevity of the Northern Ontario ecosystem. While all these areas are within the eastern part of northern Ontario, they each have distinct biomes and outside environmental factors and challenges affecting their specific regions. Frankly, many of the new provincial 'priorities' do not benefit the natural environment at all, and seek only to further the erosion of our unique ecosystems for the way of industrial and real estate development.
