I do NOT agree with the merger. HCA already does a fantastic job and I feel like this merger would be a waste of money and resources. It would take away the local control of our Conservation Authorities. I have had an HCA membership for over 20 years and we frequently visit all the conservation areas with my family. Never once have I had the thought "something needs to be fixed" not one single time. Every visit leaves my family happier and healthier. There is simply no need for this amalgamation. It would be as pointless as the blue license plates Mr Ford brought in. What a waste of time and money that was.
