This is not a positive change and will only put the protection on our Wetlands and protected areas in the hands of large government offices or developers. The smaller organizations such as GRCA act in the best interest of nature and personal safety. Water management and land protection is key. With the proposal of large organizations the environment and farming community will suffer. There are not enough resources or funds for the smaller organizations not able to see how a bigger organization will have more resources or funds to protect Ontario lands, farms or watershed. Please do not break something that is working well.
