I urge the province to reconsider merging CA’s due to their build more faster mandate. Merging CA’s will degrade a system where in each CA intimately knows its watershed and has reasonable response times and educational programs. How can these things even reasonably continue if things are merged. Please leave them as they are and reconsider the motive behind this. Also it was just reported that thee is a drop is population so why would we need to build more houses?

Finally CA’s do an important job protecting the environment that sustains our (and wildlife) life - please don’t be shortsighted about that. We need clean water and the wetland systems that do that for us - they are a critical part of life. Just as important as housing so one should not be ranked above the other.
