This proposal, to merge the existing conservation authorities in this province into seven "super-authorities" is a dangerous move and another thinly veiled attempt at this provincial government to turn more land over to developers under the guise of "building more homes" to solve the housing crisis. It will result in too much of Ontario's valuable natural resources, trees and watershed being paved over, ironically, during a time when global warming threatens to create a climate crisis and natural disaster after natural disaster. Please listen to what these authorities have to say. That's why we call them "authorities", after all, isn't it?
