Re ERO #025-1257:
As a resident of rural Dundas, and an annual pass-holder of the Hamilton Conservation Area, I strongly agree with HCA’s submission to the ERO.
I believe that it is important to maintain the status quo of decision-making by HCA.
I support keeping all conservation decisions rooted in our Dundas and Hamilton community.
Make improvements where necessary on a needs basis, but leave alone what is already working.
Hamilton, and Dundas in particular, have previous experience with amalgamation, and its negative effects still linger in the region.
As with the Greenbelt, Conservation Areas serve important roles, and are sacrosanct. Leave them that way.
