I do not support the consolidation of conservation authorities in Ontario. A local approach is much more effective for meeting the needs of individual communities and their watersheds. Larger overarching jurisdictions may save money, but are not in the best interests of our ecosystems or our communities.
The provincial government needs to stop cutting corners in the interest of saving money.
