I'm in support of consolidation and reducing the number of conservation authorities. Plus a centralized and better approach to conservation that support housing and development. More so, flexibility is required with conservation especially in areas with existing buildings - allowing for additional units and support for additional mechanisms to address flooding or nature concerns. I have seen where someone of these authorities stand with an "No" even when drainage and sewer systems have improved over the years, no flooding with some areas over 100 years. Centralized approach will hopefully curb these abuse of authority and provide my data based approaches to conservation
