I would like to state my opposition to the proposed amalgamation/reorganization of Ontario's Conservation Authorities.
Simply put you cannot properly carry-out the important environmental stewardship on local watersheds, without a focused local presence.
This proposal is just another step to further dismantle the framework that is in place to safeguard the environment for all the people in Ontario.
Please reconsider and keep Ontario's CA system AS IS.
