This is worrisome. As an environmentalist, and as a person residing within Ontario. Ultimately you’ll be hurting us all. Less conservation authorities available to monitor water sheds, water quality, ensuring what we need in terms of water and watershed management being less wide spread and accessible will hurt the efforts of conservation authorities immensely. We do this to protect the people residing in this land. Taking away the people who monitor the land and ensure things aren’t drastically changing year to year is crucial for our long term stability as humans. We want to be better. Why are we going backwards? If anything we should be giving more time and resources to our already existing conservation authorities. For example the CA I worked for was severely understaffed and underfunded. This is not the way we. We need to prioritize our planet and put money into investing into our lives by preserving and conserving our one and only planet.
