I am a long standing resident of Oakville.( 30 plus years!)
These buildings are being imposed on a community that will not benefit from this high density. This is a reckless decision and will diminish Oakville and its people . I do not recall ever voting for high density and overcrowding in any area of this country, let alone Oakville. How will hospitals, schools etc cope with all these new residents? Traffic will be even more congested! To suggest that everyone should take transit is delusional and takes away an individual's democratic choice!
Question is who will ultimately benefit from the overcrowding and unsightly development?
