- The proposed provincial zoning orders, which can not be appealed, are bullying, plain and simple.
- The provinces (in partnership with the municipalities) should be the ones to determine how many new immigrants the province can support without changing the character of neighbourhoods, and are, therefore, allowed into the country annually.
- Oakville was built on the backs of those long term homeowners who should not have to suffer the overcrowding and change of culture that would come with the proposed zoning orders.
- This country has been very poor in planning for growth. It needs to build new cities that are able to support the communities that will grow around them.
