This proposal and approach to planning is completely illogical.
There is no benefit to current residents or to those who would occupy these buildings.
If you live in Oakville, you understand that it simply can't support such a cluster of high rises. The result will be complete choas along the QEW and Trafalgar, including entrances and exists from the GO, which commuters rely on. The false premise of occupants being a transit first community is the problem. What is being proposed by developers and those supporting them is a later need to redesign all of Oakville - transit, roadways, stores, schools, to support some condos being built.
The plan simply doesn't have a valid argument other than development for the sake of overdeveloping beyond what's required to hit targets.
