City staff offer some preliminary comments on the proposed regulations posted through the Environmental Bill of Rights Registry.
At this time, staff requests more clarification on the following:
1.How will the proposed transitions regulation deal with phased or related applications that would fall under both the old and new system?
2.How will the proposed timelines for proceedings be implemented? Do the overall time lines
include the decision of the LPAT?
The City would appreciate the opportunity to comment on the draft regulations. The City commends the Province for its initiative in respect of Bill 139.
