 The actual content of the regulations does not appear to be posted on the EBR. Nor is there a link to the regulations, even though those regulations appear on a separate Regulatory Registry at http://www.ontariocanada.com/registry/view.do?postingId=25796&language=en.

   The Township of King Planning Department reported to the Committee of the Whole (Council) on the proposed Bill 139 transitional provisions on January 8, 2018 in Planning Report No.

   The transition policies need to be defined in more detail. A longer transition period before the Bill comes into force and effect would be appreciated

  We feel the two step appeal process will greatly increase the appeals timeline.

   City staff offer some preliminary comments on the proposed regulations posted through the Environmental Bill of Rights Registry.

  At this time, staff requests more clarification on the following:

   I have read the proposed transition rules.  My comment is directed to those who made an appeal hastily to avoid being part of the new system.  Some builders may have made an application to the OMB to get into the old system.
