Cancellation of an act that protects "the people" from harmful chemicals is a critical mistake. Clean drinking water and air is essential to a healthy productive society. Remember Walkerton? Remember the chemicals that industry could spill into rivers, ground and air 40 years ago? This will happen again if this bill is passed and there will be no accountability. This may sound like a good short term decision to support a few wealthy companies. But poisoned communities will destroy the publics confidence and do what.
