I have been a resident of Chatham Kent for my entire 54 years. While I do NOT own a cottage in Rondeau, I have enjoyed visting friends over the years that do. My wife and I frequently go for drives through the park "to look at the cottages". The provinnce should abandon the idea that this park would be better without cottages. Rondeau cottages have been a intregal part of our community for many years. Its residents spend money locally, and support an economy that is in peril due to the many lost automotive related jobs.
It really distubs me that the decision makers on this issue are "outsiders", that don't understand the Rondeau that most of Chatham Kent residents know and love.
In my opinion removing the cottages will destroy the park.
