I am wholeheartedly, unutterably opposed to these horrible changes. Like the attacks on our natural environment this whole act is an attack on our built heritage, an important element of Canadian history and pride. The plan is exactly like the original plan to open the green belt to development. It ignores an essential element of what makes our country a wonderful place to live...its appreciation for natural beauty and our pride in our history. In its place it gives opportunities for developers to take charge of our laws that protect our history. We Canadians disapprove of Trump's policies by something like 80%. Ford's policies follow those of the man south of the border and he destroys laws that protect our natural and built environment. I suspect to continue this attack on our values will result in the same level of approval for our Ontario government as that of our neighbours to the south. Shame on all of you who put the earning of more money as the be all and end all. There are values in life much higher than that.
