The province of Ontario must formulate regulations to allow Conservation Authorities to operate effectively to protect our environment, forestry, waterways and the people that live in and around the various areas in their jurisdictions.
In an era where wildlife and the environment are at risk, these organizations are "vital" to our future survival and to the survival of our fisheries, wildlife, forestry and clean waterways. The government has abandonned the tree re forestation program - transfer this responsibility entirely to the Conservation Authorities but give them the budget to be able to get the job done.
As we experienced climate changes and our weather changes in the near future these Conservation Authorities and the work that they do are vital in the sustainability of our environment.
