I have already mailed a letter to Ford himself in regards to the destruction this change would cost. But as he is for profit and ignorant to what his people need I will comment here in the hopes those in charge will listen.
Why would we revert the current OMB rules? These rules ensure the deep power developers have don't cut corners and harm our most vulnerable. Removing development costs hurt communities that use that income to build parks and services. And unless housing affordability comes with these proposed rules, what is the point? Let's not encourage the housing crisis already affecting our city by creating even more price-gouging developments that would see to more greedy landlords.
Please protect us, not for-profit developers.
