I feel that the stocking of the Kam river with salmon is not an effective tool for sustaining the population. My understanding that only about 1% of the stocked fish show up in anglers catch. Many years ago before stocking we had a good population of large fish in the Kam before stocking which has all but disappeared since the stocking began.
